The mattress industry doesn’t have to be this way. In our search to create the perfect mattress, we tested different materials and manufacturers from all over the world, and realized that a good quality mattress did not have to be expensive or inaccessible.

We decided to develop and produce our mattresses in Belgium, the center point of mattress manufacturing where many other high-end mattresses are produced. By using high quality foams like latex and memory foam in just the right thickness and combinations, we were able to keep our top-notch quality, while maintaining it at a reasonable price. We are proud that our Woosa Mattress is finished and assembled entirely in Belgium, and retails at $1699 for a King size. If we were a traditional mattress company, it could easily retail for $3000-$4000.
Throughout the process, we never compromised on quality - we chose to do things the hard way by traveling to Europe to work with the very best in the industry, to handpick and co-develop every single component in the mattress. At the same time, we did our research and kept the average Singaporean’s sleeping preferences in mind, making sure it fit the Singaporean standard of overall comfort and support. Where we are today:
We’re always working on creating better bedtime experiences, such as being one of the first in the region to offer adjustable bases, so that you can adjust your bed to your favourite position. We eventually developed our own proprietary foam as well - The Woosa Cloud Foam - that’s used in our pillows and the Mysa mattress.
It is well-known that Singapore is one of the most sleep-deprived countries in the world. We hope that Woosa can change that, by helping our fellow Singaporeans not only sleep more, but sleep better.
