DESIGN PROCESS

We wanted to create the perfect duvet for Singapore's hot and humid climate, focusing on breathability, weight, comfort, and durability. Our search led us to one of the oldest and most established silk makers in Suzhou, China, where silk-making traditions have thrived for over 5,000 years.

The Woosa Silk Duvet is filled with 6A silk—the highest grade available—which is rigorously tested for quality and colour. Each ultra-long 6A silk fiber can stretch up to 1.5km without breaking. These fibers are expertly layered to create a seamless filling, resulting in an exceptionally soft, fluid, and cosy feel.

Meticulously designed

The Woosa Silk Duvet features thoughtful design elements for ease of use. Direction tags at the top and bottom indicate the proper orientation when inserting the duvet into a cover, while 8-sided clips ensure it stays securely in place.

Temperature regulating

Our duvet's long silk strands intertwine to form millions of tiny open pockets for air flow. The molecular structure of silk keeps you temperature-neutral: cool on warm nights and snug on cold nights. Silk also wicks away moisture quickly. It can absorb at least 30% of its body weight in moisture without getting damp.

Made to last

The long threads in Mulberry silk are incredibly strong as they have a natural tendency to adhere and bond with itself. It is less prone to tearing, pulling, or bunching up over time. With proper care, The Woosa Silk Duvet is able to last up to 15 years.

The shell of The Woosa Silk Duvet is crafted from 100% cotton. Its luxurious thread count and sateen weave create a sumptuously soft, silky feel. It is also 100% hypoallergenic, ensuring both comfort and peace of mind.

We do not use a silk blend. Our 100% pure Mulberry silk is smoother, stronger and friction-free, which is great for sensitive skin. You can be assured that your duvet will not bunch up over time, and will last up to 15 years with proper care Silk is a 100% natural fibre with a protein that makes it hypoallergenic and resistant to bacteria, microbes and mould build-up. This helps to reduce allergy reactions and is beneficial for those with sensitive or itchy skin. FILL WEIGHT The Woosa Silk Duvet has a fill weight that is carefully calibrated so that it is heavy enough for a snug feel, while still remaining airy enough for tropical weather. We recommend using the duvet with a cover. The Woosa Silk Duvet is designed to fit any standard Asian-sized duvet cover of the same dimensions listed above. A cover helps protect the duvet from stains, dirt, and wear, extending its lifespan. Covers are much easier to wash regularly than the duvet itself, and you can change the look of your bedding by simply switching covers. Additionally, a cover adds an extra layer of softness and can be chosen based on your preferred fabric feel, enhancing overall comfort.

The Woosa Silk Duvet requires minimal maintenance due to silk's natural repellent properties against dust, dirt, and odors.
