DESIGN PROCESS

We wanted to create a pillow that is soft and plush, yet supportive and breathable. Different materials were explored, but each possesses its drawbacks. Memory Foam pillows, known for their supportiveness, often tend to sleep hot, which may not be ideal for those who easily overheat during the night. Latex pillows, on the other hand, offer a bouncy feel but often lack the plushness that some sleepers prefer. And lastly, while down pillows are undeniably soft and plush, they tend to lose their shape over time.

What is the firmness level of the Woosa Pillow?

The firmness level of the Woosa Pillow can be measured at 6.5/10, with 10 being the firmest. However, our unique Woosa Cloud Foam has adaptive properties that respond to pressure from both side and back sleeping positions. As more pressure is applied to the pillow, it offers a firmer resistance, providing the proper level of support and comfort tailored to your individual needs.

Do I need to use a pillowcase with Woosa Pillow?

While the Woosa Pillow features a removable and washable Italian-made Microtencel cover, we still encourage using a pillowcase in addition to the provided cover. Using a pillowcase not only adds an extra layer of protection for your pillow but also allows you to personalise the look and style of your bedding. The Woosa Pillow is designed to fit all standard pillowcases, making it convenient and easy to find the perfect match for your preferred style.

Where is the Woosa Pillow made from?

The fabric of the Woosa Pillow is sourced from Italy, while the rest of the pillow is made and assembled in Belgium. The Woosa Pillow is designed and tested in Singapore.

Why not other materials?

Many pillows on the market have specific benefits, but each carries its own drawbacks. None came close to our idea of a perfect pillow. Memory foam pillows are supportive but sleep hot; latex pillows are comfortable and resilient but lack plushness; down pillows are soft and plush but lose their shape and leave a hole in the middle.

We wanted a pillow that perfectly balances all these positives without any of the negatives, and used what we learnt to develop the Woosa Cloud Foam.

What are the recommended care instructions for the Woosa Pillow?

Caring for your Woosa Pillow is simple and straightforward. For minor stains or spills, spot cleaning is recommended. The removable cover can be gently washed to maintain freshness. However, it's important to note that the foam inner core should not be washed to preserve its unique properties and structure. By following these care instructions, you can ensure your Woosa Pillow remains in optimal condition for years to come.
